What a rotten summer we are all experiencing. I still hold out some hope that the sunshine will arrive. However, while it is so horrible we are still all feverishly knitting.
We are fast approaching Autumn, and the new ranges for this Autumn/Winter are traditional yarns with high wool content. They are just beautiful, and Twilleys have just brought out a new book to complement their Freedom range which is delightful, especially the kimino jacket it on the front, which incidentally I will be knitting very shortly for myself (just cant decide on the colours). Expect to see lots of regular chunky this winter also ladies, great for socks, cabled scarves and hats. Think Christmas!
I am currently in the Sleaford shop watching it piddle with rain outside, today is quiet nobody wants to brave the weather (can't blame them) but it is giving me a chance to sew up a crochet squared blanket, its been sat looking at me long enough! I should finish it today - yipee!
(you can find the Twilleys book on our website click for online shop it is on the front page - thanks!)
