This is the 2nd time I will be writing this blog, as I had just finished the first one and like a numpty I clicked the wrong button and deleted it.  Mikaela who is currently is sitting on the sofa (actually sprawled out) is just cackling at me (the witch that she is).

Anyway I will try again, today I have had a busy today, when I arrived this morning I was greeted by Andy the rep from Elle yarns.  He was carrying 3 black cases, I get excited when I see black cases as wool companies use these when they have new yarns to launch.  The yarns are nicely presented in the boxes with garments and patterns to match.  He revealed the first yarn, which was a tweedy mega chunky with traditional colours, in the second box was a DK version of the same yarn.  Although nice the yardage I felt was a bit to short. In his final case he introduced a current range but in a new weight.  Those of you familiar with the Gold range will know the yarn I am writing about, they are going to be launching this in an Aran, and as Andy pointed out the stitch definition on a cabled jumper would look fantastic.

This afternoon Paul from King Cole paid me a visit, carrying 2 black cases.  Again King Cole are launching a new mega chunky called Aero.  It is a lightweight yarn, so the idea is you get the look without the strain of wearing such a heavy weight yarn.  They had some nice patterns, and they will be promoting this yarn in next months knitting magazines (he told me that so it you dont see it ladies dont shout at me please). The final yarn a current chunky they do but they have re-vamped the colours and they are yummy.  There were green, orange, lilac, pink, and some bright funky varigated colours ideal for kid knits.  I ordered this due for arrival in September.

Richard from Woolcraft is coming on Monday, I like Richard he's got great yarns at great value with great service!
